The next South Carolina day took us to visit Karen's brother David and her sister-in-law Peggy. They greeted us from their turn of the century, true southern home, restored and decorated with period appeal. They offered a walk down to the park and playground and we gladly obliged.
Georgia was taught to stay away from fire ants and how helicopter seeds flew and Karen was taught about local flowers.

After a turn around the park and playground, we went back to the house where Peggy and David helped us find a diesel mechanic. Karen had a call with him and got a plan of action to drain the fuel/water separator. It sounded so easy even Karen could do it.
After that, David and Peggy took us to dinner at a South Carolina classic, Sheely's Barbecue, where people from all around come to 'pay your way in and eat your way out', so we got stuck into South Carolina's famous mustard and vinegar BBQ.
