We had a check engine light on the truck since we bought it and so we had an appointment at the Ford dealership to have it looked at this morning. Tim met Bill Rush (our car broker) there and Karen and Gigi had a visit with Lynn Douglas and her 3 kids under 3. When the repair sales advisor came out shaking her head with a laundry list of work they felt could be done for$ 5k Tim's heart sank. We decided to decline the repairs on War (which happens to be running great), at this time and find an independent mechanic for a second opinion a little further down the line. It may be a risk but we do have breakdown cover!
