Gibbs Garden and the lost truck

Karen's mom took us to Gibbs Garden for the day.  It is a beautiful botanical garden in North Georgia.

Unfortunately, Karen spent the first hour in the parking lot negotiating for the truck.  We didn't believe the dealer "Pop" when he said there was someone in the showroom looking at that same truck.  When we finally gave in and agreed to pay their "best offer", it was too late, the other buyer beat us to the punch.  Karen came back failed and dejected.   Tim shut down for fear of losing his composure in front of his mother-in-law.

After that the visit to the gardens just wasn't the same.  Sorry, Mom.  We were dejected because we had fallen in love with the truck.  What do they say about emotions in big purchases?

Regardless, the gardens were beautiful and we appreciated being outside and their beauty!
