As we were driving to Orlando, I was saying to Tim that in the last month I have seen more sunshine than I've seen in the entire last year in London. It makes me wonder why I live in London. However, putting sunscreen on every day also not my favourite thing to do.
When we got to Orlando, it was raining and it proceeded to rain, torrentially, for the next 36 hours. That was OK for Tim because he had to work, doing a voice-over through ISDN. However, Georgia and I were trapped inside Uncle John's house, which I admit is much better than being trapped in the trailer, but we got so used to beautiful sunny days. We did get a couple of swims in John's swimming pool, heaven for G. Just when we thought we were up to our chin in cabin fever, Tim suggested that we f@#$ the weather and have our own Mexican Beach Party in John's screened in porch. We stocked up and had frozen margaritas, chips/salsa, shrimp on the barbie for shrimp tacos, etc, etc. Let's just say we were all a bit 'happier' after that and the rain doldrums were diverted.
John was able to call in a favour from a good friend and scored us some tickets to Disney World. Thanks Uncle John! We were concerned about the weather, but took a chance. It turned out to be a fantastic day with The Mouse. The sun was warm, the lines weren't too bad and we were able to get on most of the rides we wanted and saw the parade. What a fantastic day!

We finished it off with a night out with Uncle John. His neighbours' 16-year old daughter babysat Georgia, which G loved. We went to a German beer house for dinner. It was delicious and good fun with fantastic beer, but strangely I could have been in Bavaria.
The next day we went out to lunch with John at 4R BBQ and went to the playground in downtown Orlando and had a great time. We topped off the day with an Italian ice and a dip in the swimming pool.
