Martha Creek

On the way up the Trans-Canada Highway we stopped at Wal-mart (it has the biggest parking lots) in beautiful Kamloops and pushed our way next to rivers, past lakes and between mountains towards Revelstoke.

Now Revelstoke is supposed to be a lovely town and we intended to visit it but when we got to our campsite in Martha Creek right on the lake, it was hard to leave again.

We swam in the ice cold lake, basked in the sun and played on the playground (which was on the beach) for hours. Bliss.
