Vegas baby!

We drove down the hill so to speak to Vegas and on the way we crossed the mountains on Hwy 14 - a VERY steep and winding road near Zion National Park. As we descended, an error message suddenly went off to tell us to ‘check trailer’. A white-knuckled Karen put on the brakes as gentle as she could and slowly but surely guided us to safety. Tim went to check out the trailer and it seems the plug connecting the truck and trailer had become unattached. This means we had no signals and more importantly no brakes on the trailer. (Whew) Disaster avoided.

When we got to our park in Vegas it was 102 degrees. So we had a swim in the pool, did some laundry, showered and went out to the strip.

We only had the evening in Vegas so we went to several hotels, walked the strip and soaked up the flavour.

It’s a bit hard to do Vegas with a 2.5 year old (G was tired of the papparatzi)

so Tim plans to return with some adults.
